Eureka Canceled??? What The Fuck SyFy!
In case you haven’t heard, Eureka is done for. The masters of SyFy have decided to end this series and send it down to the depths where Farscape lives. All I can say about this is, what a fucking suck.
Ok, I get it, Eureka costs a lot of money to make and right now it’s not making that amount in advertising. But is it not making that amount with drawing in users to other shows on SyFy? Is not Eureka drawing in other viewers to other shows? I have to say I think that it is.
I am really fearing that SyFy is returning the days when they got rid of Farscape and replaced it with Tremors the series. Yes, I do remember you did this you bastards and I will never forget it. And you better not be doing it again!
SyFy really turned a corner when BSG came out. They grew some balls and attacked the science fiction genre with gusto. I praise them for their success over the last several years. But please, for the love of god, don’t start slipping down the dark path.
Look, we get it, if a show isn’t profitable, it has to be cut. Ok, fine. We may not like it all the time but we get it. At the end of the day it’s about how much money you make. Fine. But it’s also about keeping your fan base generally happy. You eased up on the wrestling and put more into the shows. And we love you for it. I don’t even mind the stupid name change anymore.
But please, please, please, don’t let this start a trend to cancel the good shows and replace them with stupid shows. Please? Can I get some comments from the community here? Can we shout out to the devils that exists in suits at the top of the food chain and let them know we have a voice. Let us shout again that chant we shouted so long ago. Let them hear our voices as we join together. Let them hear our call. Shout with all you can. I am fucking Farscape!
