George Allen Miller One Geek's take on all things SciFi

Blog Rededication – All things Sci Fi – NOT SEEFEE

07.31.2010 · Posted in Everyday Life

Been awhile since I posted. But since no one really reads this, who really cares. I started this blog as a mimicry of a self help blog I found, thinking I could make some money on the web. That failed. Though I did get 12o+ uniques on one day, which I rewarded myself with a personal high five, it never really grew beyond that. Mostly because I didn’t post so much. Whatever, I had a personal tragedy, it happens.

Now, after nearly two years of this blog I think I am finally going to find a blog topic. Well more of a theme than a single topic. If you haven’t noticed from all the posts on this blog I’m a bit of a geek. More than a  bit really. I like SciFi, Fantasy and other things that are more or less firmly centered in the world of Fantasia (meaning imagination and dreams).

Another area that I happen to love is television. I’m currently on season 4 of my Rescue Me Netflix binge. If that is any indication, I think the show is fucking fantastic. But to stay on point here, I am going to focus this blog on TV and SciFi commentary, opinions and thoughts. Why not eh?

It’s really not far from what this blog already has on it honestly. Of course occasionally i’ll post a random thought on politics, local DC H street life, or some other stupid idea I may have. Hmm, so really, I guess that means the blogs not changing at all and this post has been mostly worthless. Well whatever, if anyone does read this just know that i’m going to start posting again.

That all said, Rescue Me seasons 1-3 were pretty intense. Though really, can one guy really have that much misery? First 9-11, then his mother, marriage, son, brother, all die. Insane. Anyway, more on that later. I’m off to the store.
