Will Dick Cheney please STFU
I really don’t want my blog to turn into a sounding board for either the left or the right. I tend to lean towards the left, mostly independent, but think a strong balance should be established. That said, Dick Cheney, please shut the F#&$ up!
There is a tradition in Washington D.C. Current presidents do not throw their predecessors under the bus. It’s also an understood rule that past presidencies don’t throw the current presidency under the bus. Well, Dick seems to have forgotten those rules. I saw today that he said Obama is ignoring the war we are in. No, actually, he isn’t. He’s trying to fix the gigantic mess that you, Dick Cheney, gave to the American people.
Lets stop with the name calling and stone throwing shall we. I recently saw a facebook entry of a, I suppose now former, friend of mine that said “new years resolution = less contact with democrats”. Are you kidding me? Great, lets isolate the parties, lets bunker into our own camps and bring congress to a shrieking halt so that nothing gets done. Aw fuck it, lets just have a revolution and all you republicans and democrats can join red and blue states and cede from the union. Civil war part deux!
I do hope that the independents, which I really tend to fall into, can hold a calmer mind and actually be open to a discussion. Democrats are screaming that the republicans have given them a giant mess while the republicans jump up and down at every opportunity to show how bad the democrats are doing. The end result is the American people get screwed.
Even I get caught into these blamestorming sessions that attract millions. Suffice to say, Dick, stop talking. All you are doing is proving how much of an egotistical maniac you are. Rumors abound about how you are belching your spew in an attempt to draw attention away from your damn near illegal actions. I’d love to hear about how top secret information was shown to a Saudi national, but I digress.
Obama is doing just fine. You had eight years and you didn’t get rid of Al Qaeda. You failed. That makes you a loser. So shut up and stop being the fox news puppet of the hour already. We’re sick of seeing you belching on national TV already. Why don’t you try dancing with the stars or something if you want to stay in the spotlight?
