Redskins Week 2 – Please fire Jim Zorn NOW!
Ok, so, are you kidding me? Did a coach of a NFL football franchise go for it on the 20 yard line with a 2 point lead? Did that coach not kick a chip shot field goal and take a 5 point lead? What kind of a call was that? I’ve never seen a coach not point such easy points on the board in my adult life. What reasoning in there to such a call? Do you expect the rams to push down and get a TD so you don’t want to risk the 5 point lead? Huh? I really just don’t get it. And excuse me, you do it TWICE?!?!? Are you fucking kidding me? From the half yard mark you go for it on 4th and 1 and not make it?!?! GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! Go back to Seattle, get fired, enlist, do something with yourself but stop coaching my fucking football team. Jim Zorn, you should be fired, you should retire, you should open a used car dealership. I was always in support of you, but now, you should not only not coach football but you shouldn’t even be allowed to watch it. I don’t care that we won, you lucked your ass off by winning.
The rest of the game was a case of the Skins going down field, getting inside the 10, and kicking a field goal or going for it on 4th and 1 and not making it. They did that 4 times. This score should be 28-7 and not 9-7.
The defense did very well. The offense actually did very well too, except once they got into the red zone. The two dropped passes in the redzone were of course no great help. Campbell was good, 242 yards and 30+ rushing. He was mobile, he was fearless and he took command of the team. The defense attacked the rams and didn’t let them have any breathing room. The only gotcha on this game was the redzone offense. Oh and the miserable, horrible, unbelievably bad coaching.
A win is a win and i’m happy we are not 0-2. I am more in shock over the final few minutes than the rest of the game. Please join my call to have this idiot removed. Yes that’s harsh, but 4th and 1 on the half yard line with a 2 point lead and you go for it with minutes left to go? No excuse for that. None.
